How caravan rental works in Istanbul
Five simple steps from search to handover. Plain English, no fine print.
- Step 1
Browse and shortlist
Use the filters on our fleet page to find the right size and type — campervan for couples, motorhome for families, alcove for groups of 5–6.
- Step 2
Request a quote
Send the contact form with your dates and group size. We reply within 4 hours with availability, total price and a recommended route.
- Step 3
Confirm and pay deposit
30% deposit confirms the booking. We send a digital rental agreement and a checklist of documents to bring.
- Step 4
Pickup and handover
We meet you at Istanbul airport or our depot. The handover takes about 45 minutes — paperwork, vehicle walkthrough, route briefing.
- Step 5
Drive with full support
24/7 phone support in English. Curated route maps, campsite list and tips for tolls, fuel and supermarkets.
Frequently asked
- Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)?
- If your driving licence is in Latin script (UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia, etc.) you can drive in Turkey for up to 6 months on your home licence. An IDP is required if your licence is in another script (Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese, etc.).
- Is a deposit required?
- Yes — a 30% deposit confirms the booking, and the balance is due on pickup. We accept bank transfer, credit card and cash in EUR/USD/TRY. A separate security deposit (typically €500–€1,000) is held on a credit card and released after the caravan is returned in good condition.
- What documents do I need to bring?
- Passport, driving licence (and IDP if applicable), and a credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit.
- What if something goes wrong on the road?
- Every rental includes 24/7 roadside assistance in English. Most issues are resolved with a phone call; for mechanical problems we arrange a replacement vehicle within a few hours.
- Can I drop the caravan off in a different city?
- One-way rentals are available to Antalya, Izmir and Ankara for an additional fee. Round-trip from Istanbul is the most economical option.
