Caravan Rental in Istanbul — Your Gateway to Turkey
Pick up your fully-equipped motorhome at Istanbul or Sabiha Gökçen airport and drive into a thousand-year-old city — and beyond.
Istanbul is the ideal starting point for a caravan trip in Turkey. With two international airports, easy highway access in every direction, and dozens of vetted campsites on both the European and Asian shores, you can land in the morning and be parked on a Bosphorus overlook by sunset. Our team meets every international visitor at the airport, hands over a fully-equipped caravan in English, and walks you through routes, campsites and what to expect at toll gates and city traffic.
Two continents in one trip
Cross between Europe and Asia by bridge or by ferry — both routes are caravan-friendly. We provide a curated list of viewpoints, campsites and quiet neighbourhoods where you can park overnight.
Airport pickup, no taxi needed
Free pickup from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) for rentals of 7+ days. We accept your international or home-country driving licence on the spot.

Istanbul — frequently asked
- Can I park a caravan in central Istanbul?
- Central Istanbul is busy and parking restrictions are strict. We recommend staying at one of the city-edge campsites (Riva, Kilyos, Çamlıca) and travelling into the centre by metro or ferry. Our team provides the full list with addresses and pricing.
- Is it safe to drive in Istanbul traffic?
- Yes — Istanbul drivers are assertive but predictable, and main toll roads are modern. We avoid handing over caravans during the morning rush and offer a one-hour orientation drive if requested. Most international renters drive only the highway sections and use campsites on the outskirts.
- Which airport should I fly into?
- Both work. Istanbul Airport (IST) is on the European side and connects directly to highways heading west and south. Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is on the Asian side and is ideal if your route goes east toward Cappadocia or the Black Sea.
